What we process and why
- Orders — name, email, phone, delivery address and items bought, to perform the sales contract and deliver your order (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Invoicing and accounting — order and invoice data, kept for the legal period (10 years in Portugal) to meet tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Enquiries — emails you send us, so we can reply.
We do not use your data for marketing without your consent and we never sell it.
Who receives your data
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment processing (card details are handled only by Stripe).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website and database hosting.
- The courier delivering your order — name, address and phone number.
- Our certified accountant and the Portuguese Tax Authority, where required by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies: your shopping cart, your age confirmation and your chosen delivery country. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and our fonts are served from our own domain.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, or object to its processing, by writing to wine@uvatuga.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in Portugal, the CNPD (cnpd.pt) — or the one in your country.
